Pershore Choral is an amateur mixed (SATB) choir
of about 100 voices and was founded in 1949 by the late Joan Philips. Normally we perform three major concerts each season in Pershore Abbey - at
least two of them with orchestral accompaniment. For current details and to
find out where to get tickets see the Concerts
page. Pershore Choral always welcomes potential members who can follow a vocal score and hold a line. Membership is by audition although potential members are allowed a few weeks to get to know us before auditioning. More details on the Membership page. We are a very friendly group and a couple of times a year get together over a drink after rehearsal to get to know each other better. Occasional social events are arranged and well attended by members. |

The Choir in concert in Pershore Abbey |
Pershore Choral has a very loyal support network and this is much appreciated. The members are very grateful to all our volunteers and teams of stewards and programme sellers who give their time so generously to help the smooth running of our concerts. We also thank all the local businesses who advertise in our concert programmes each year. Without their support our treasurer's life would be made much more difficult. |
